This was so hard to get through because the content is so tough but it was 100% worth it. Can't count the times the tears came to my eyes. I knew Chanel's story but it's so different to hear it in her words, and even more different in her voice. How any judge could have heard her speak and still given a sentence of only 6 months is beyond me. Every woman can relate to this book and every person should read it. It's not just the story of the assault and trial, it's also a story of rebuilding and moving forward.
