Beautiful historical romance between two “enemies” who were never truly enemies after all. Thea knows what she wants and she is willing to do anything to get it, even leave her life of ease and try to find work well below her station. Despite many struggles along the way and dealing with her fears of becoming like her parents will she be able to learn to trust? Benedict is adored by many for his good looks and friendly personality unfortunately what he doesn’t realize is his “kindness” is really shameless flirting and it’s not all harmless.
This book is a great reminder of the importance of communication and not making assumptions.
I have really enjoyed this series. I liked getting a little sequel into James and Felicity’s story and can’t wait to see what happens with Henry.
