This one isn’t for me. I forced myself to finished it because everyone said it was an extremely slow burn, but this is a generous 2 stars for me.
The characters felt flat and I didn’t connect with them. I’m all for a slow burn, but this book didn’t have any tension. When we finally did see the characters interact some, I found that I wasn’t super interested.
