Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman

4.0

I was torn between 3,4 or 5 stars. I decided against five since I kept whining about some parts of the story. I really enjoyed the writing style of Neil Gaiman as well as his jokes. The intro was quite interesting too as was the final q&a part in the edition I had. The storyline was engaging and haunting at times. I would have liked more info on Door and her family. A key point for me was the description of Richard’s realisation and reaction to the fact that he had turned invisible and almost non-existent to everyone around him. And another was the complexity of the world of London Below, the closed down tube stations, the floating market...So it’s really more of a 3.5 stars from me, but I would read it again!!
