Great introduction to a new series
I really enjoyed this story, the characters and background were very well developed and the banter between them all made me feel like I was part of the conversation like I was there with the characters in their reception. Cherise Sinclair writes great stories and this is definitely one of them as well. It was nice having a story about Master Z and Jessica because you get to see how their life together is progressing and you get caught up with what has been happening at the beginning of the story and Cherise did something unexpected a surprise by bringing a character from her Dark Haven series into this story. You’ll have to read the book to know who it is. I was surprised at how fast a read this story was it was short too. I didn’t want it to end, but now I’ll have to buy the first book in the Son of Survivalist series to find out what happens with Gabe. I would recommend this book to fans of Cherise Sinclair and for those who love the Shadowlands Master Z oh and to people who love romance.
