The Girl on the Train
by Paula Hawkins
Not negating the trauma that the characters in this story went through, it had a very whiny white rich girl feeling to it. The discontentment with having a "good" life, not working or having purpose to everyday, and being able to waste life away on booze, affairs, and stalking isn't a very relatable life circumstance for most people (I hope). About half way through you get enough not-so-subtle hints to find out "whodunnit" and have to wait until the end for a final anticlimactic motive. Overall, I was surprised with how big this book became.
