one4_thebooks 's review for:
The Scarecrow
by Michael Connelly
The first 3/4 of this book was enjoyable. It is still worth reading!
I enjoyed this one a lot better than The Poet (which I loved when I read it as a teenager, but disliked when I read it again in my 30s.)
Honestly, the story gets a bit weighed down toward the end and goes on maybe 100 pages too long.
But I will say that I'm looking forward to seeing McEvoy show up again in Connelly's newest one coming out later this year!
