Charlie Bone Lúc Nửa Đêm
by Jenny Nimmo
Another one for nostalgia. The plot and writing of this book do hold up, though revisiting the series more than ten years after first reading it, I do spot some stereotyping on various levels, as well as a few aspects that are reminiscent of other works of fantasy. Still, the story of this book and the characters in it are engaging enough, and there's some nice symbolism and decent foreshadowing, too.
