The Umbrella by A.M. Stuart

4.0

This short prequel to Stuart's Harriet Gordon series adds a little backstory and supplements what we already know about Harriet. It's certainly worth reading after reading the main series (or at least the first installment). Although there isn't much here that is new, I particularly appreciated the feeling of suffocation Harriet felt - it makes it easier to see why she joined the suffragettes and why she moved to Singapore.
