Kill Bin Laden: A Delta Force Commander's Account of the Hunt for the World's Most Wanted Man by Dalton Fury

3.0

A decent story of the special forces battle at Tora Bora in Afghanistan a few months after 9/11. The book shined where it discussed the external factor to the battle, which were numerous in a fight where American forces did little more than drop bombs and relied on local forces to do the fighting. I wish that the book had discussed the Delta Forces that ran the battle more though, as the book was the most intriguing when they touched on that group. Unfortunately large parts of the books were little more than talking about code name X was a good guy and on this day had to go to this position, which led to some parts being almost filler to the larger narrative.
