I can’t believe I haven’t seen more of this on booktok! I loved this so much. Adult characters, the pining, the chivalry, the dry humor! I loved all the characters, even the more minor ones are memorable. The two mysteries kept me interested and were set up well for future books to continue the story. I do still have some questions about the world building (how did the god die/why) but most of the setting is familiar enough that the story didn’t suffer for it. I can’t wait to read the next one!
