Another read for my research lollll but I thought this provided a good foundation for understanding the rise of the Arab American left. Learned lots of new info about the history of Arab organizing in the u.s. but I wish the author engaged with the history past chronicling its timeline— a more in-depth critique and analysis felt to be missing. also wish it continued and analyzed its pitfalls since, esp bc before oct 7 23 Arab American organizing outside of the basic non profit social service model has, from my view, disappeared
