I love Hockey Daddy, making A Major Puck Up is my favorite out of the entire Revenge Games series. The Langfield’s just draw you in. Two brothers play for the Boston Bolts, one is the CEO, and the other is now the coach. I went into this book blind. I think I saw one post saying “the next book in The Revenge Games series is out now!” and I ran to Kindle Unlimited. The first book, Revenge Era was fun and forbidden. The second, Pucking Revenge, was fake dating with a side of he falls first. All that and I was excited for the next installment.

A Major Puck Up had so many twists, it started making me nervous. At the very beginning you’re set up to know it’s a dad’s best friend, age gap, forbidden love kinda thing. But then THINGS HAPPEN and my jaw dropped to the floor.

I expected the sneaking around, I expected the spice, what I didn’t expect was the emotional journey we’d go on with Millie. It was so nice to read a character who was flawed, and not in a silly way, but in a it takes time and processing to overcome/learn to navigate kind of way. There were so many moments when I was tearing up thinking, “I get it girl.” Millie is the ultimate black cat character. She knows she’s making her life harder but can’t get out of her own way. Once the main characters find their way back to one another I was so hopeful and sad at how Gavin was keeping her at arms length when they’re clearly meant to be. My heart was so full come the end of the book. I would love holiday anthology checking in with all the Langfield’s, just saying.
