And She Was: A Novel of Suspense by Alison Gaylin

I didn't think I'd like this book. I just picked it up because I was on my way to an infusion (where you sit for 3 hours getting IV meds pumped into your arm) and I had nothing to read. I grabbed it with a water bottle from the local CVS. But it surprised me! I actually liked the main character, Brenna Shannon, and it never got too sappy into romance details. The writing wasn't as horrific as I thought it would be either. The mystery kept me involved near the end. The only thing that bugged me was the constant mentions of technology and social media. As if it were something recently discovered that needed to be mentioned and explained constantly. Drove me a little crazy. But I might pick up another book in this series.
