Liane Moriarty definitely knows how to write compelling stories. I’m still amazed that I not only kept up with all nine characters + the resort staff, but I also became invested in their stories. The dialogue was witty, the premise was interesting, the social commentary was excellent, and the whole book was unlike anything I’ve read before. I was compelled to keep turning the pages. I just kept waiting for something *more* to happen, and I didn’t really get that satisfying feeling.
Graphic: Death, Suicide, Grief, and Child death
Moderate: Drug use, Medical content, Panic attacks/disorders, and Cursing
Minor: Addiction and Animal death
