I see why so many people say this book is hard to follow, but for me that only adds to the beauty of it. It takes extremely human concepts and shows them through a wonderfully human and inhuman lense. I adore this book and how it handles the intricacies of connection and devotion. How it talks about how devotion and love can be one and the same and also seperate entities and how they can both hurt you. The relationships in this book both between lovers and friends and gods and devotees are so well built. AND THERES GIANT ROBOTS. AND GAY PEOPLE! Like this books perfect I cannot recomend it enough.
