It took me a while to get into the book. I didn’t loveeee the FMC or how the first 85% of the book hints at the big something over and over again. I did love Elliott though. The ending is both

emotionally devastating (even if partially predictable) and explains why she was with her fiancé, which I was very confused by at first

. Was invested enough to want to finish and the ending bumped it up a bit, though I wasn’t as wrapped up with the story like I usually am with books in this genre.
