A simple, yet compelling and enjoyable adventure! Recommended as a cozy adventure to curl up with, it was exactly that. It was easy to visualize this and I could see this being a fun movie! The villains were a tad absurde but actually frightening at times, in their unhinged ways. The romance was sweet.
I agree with other reviewers that I sometimes got the voices of the sisters confused from chapter to chapter, and I also got YA vibes. Some of the girls’ feats seemed a little far fetched. The weaknesses dont take away from the intriguing story.
Read on the recommendation of “What to Read If” on Substack.
