4.5 stars! Classic setting, interesting magic system, already really impressive character work… and already so much emotional turmoil lol. She’s really laying the groundwork for her world and characters, but it’s still a satisfying arc for one book. All’s to say ha ha I am ~SCARED~ thinking about what Robin Hobb is going to put me through for 15 more books..
