I'm glad this was a short book and I was able to read it quickly so I don't feel like I wasted my time. I just didn't vibe with this one really. As usual I didn't refresh my memory on what it was actually about before I jumped into it, which was a mistake this time. I can't handle too much tragedy happening with kids and there's a lot of that in here. The whole thing was just very melancholic and I feel like I need to veg out with some Parks and Rec to get back on track.
