this was just very very mid? the writing was choppy and could've been edited better, I didn't care about any of the characters, and everything felt very predictable? it wasn't anything groundbreaking or exceptionally unique, and I feel like it's another case of a book banking so hard on being "good representation" that it sacrifices some quality? like in the book, tania talks a lot about how people only see her as sick, but the book also kind of does exactly that? all we really know about her by the hundredth page is that she has pots and wants to be a musketeer and that is not enough for me
