i read this for school and i went in knowing that some people say that this book is genuinely the best book ever written. i personally don’t agree but i will say that toni morrison did an amazing job telling this story and even though it wasn’t something i probably would’ve chosen for myself and it’s not something i will probably read again, the story was still really meaningful and i definitely felt like it was able to affect me. so definitely a very well written book, although it was kind of confusing in parts, and i would recommend it if you don’t mind some dark content.
