Listen, this story was awesome. I was so excited that I only guess HALF of the ending. The reason this book, lost a star was because for me....there was a little too much sex and not ENOUGH plot...even still I feel like that isn't an actual description so let me try again.The sex, was fine, I love sex, we all love sex. What I didn't like was that they were ALWAYS doing it. Like at some point I wanted to see what their relationship was like in the "Before" ASIDE from the sex and lovey dovey stuff. Even a little more of an insight into Damien's family life as well. The plot, was awesome. I enjoyed the flipping back and forth and that the switch was clear and distinct. Not every author is capable of making that seamless transaction, but I feel as though Lauren Hammond did a really great job. I do wish that we could've gotten a little more interaction between her and the characters from "After" versus the "Before" I think it would've have give the character and even DEEPER meaning or a deeper connection to what her life is NOW.

With all the being said, again the ENDING I WAS NOT EXPECTING!! Which I love so much, because it leaves me on the edge of my chair waiting for the sequel. The ending was so jammed pack with new informations and new characters and new items and I KNOW the series is gonna be amazing. I cannot wait to see whats next. I know that I going to love the second book, it would take a lot to, with everything that she left us with, to make a sequel that didn't live up to my expectations.

This was a good read, well a GREAT read. Definitely would recommend it for anyone.
