I don’t even know how to start this review!!!

I’ve read the Shadow and Bone trilogy this year, and absolutely LOVED it. So, in a way, I was expecting to love “Six of Crows”, as well. However, what I was not expecting was to get completely obsessed with it !!!
I do have to admit that my dissertation may have been forgotten for a few days, while I read this book… 🤷🏻‍♀️ In my defense, I do have to say that Leigh Bardugo, Kaz, Inej, Jesper, Nina, Mathias and Wylan (who am I kidding, it is mostly Kaz!) are entirely to blame for that.

I love how “Six of Crows” gives us, the readers, who fell in love with the whole Grisha world, the opportunity to get deeper into that wonderful magical world. The plot is just really engaging, and you are pulled into the story from the very first page, but what, in my opinion, make so many people connect with the book are the characters and their great relationship dynamics. The thing is, these characters are not perfect. They all have their own flaws, they all have their own stories and struggles. They, in a sense, what we would call morally grey characters. But that is what really makes you connect with them. And please, don’t even let me get started on the romance! All I’m going to say is that my poor little heart almost couldn’t handle it 😭

I would also like to point that in “Six of Crows” there is a diverse cast of characters, and an #ownvoices disability representation. In my opinion, and just like I said before, this is just adds so much to each character and to their development through out the story, and allows for more people to read, identify and connect with this story.
