I never quite knew what to expect with this story. But the writing is incredibly beautiful and tangible. Leigh really puts you right there in the world when she writes and I am so here for it! Luzia is such an understated main character who blooms and becomes so wonderful. I feel like a lot of readers can relate to her need to be seen by someone. Santangel did not disappoint either. Such depth and intrigue! Giving a shout out to all the secondary characters without whom our main characters would have never learn who they really are. And if I’m being quite honest, there were a few surprises at the end that I just loved!
