Nothing to See Here by Kevin Wilson
5.0
UM...let me start with this: if one of your friends recommends a book for you, read it. You never know if you'll find your next favorite hidden gem. That's how I came across this one. And boy, am I glad? This book is unlike anything I'd ever experienced. Such a simple story. The reunion of best friends after an unfortunate end to their friendship, coming from two different sides of life. A new job opportunity (and chance to rekindle their broken bond) is brought upon them, but that's where the simplicity ends. Throwing in such an oddball element as this book did was absolutely incredible to see unfold. The dynamics in this were great as well: mother/daughter, stranger/child, coworker/coworker, etc. I swept through this book so fast, because each chapter keeps you in constant curiosity, without persistent cliffhangers and twists...except one. But you'll just have to read to find out.
