“When you eliminate the impossible, all that remains, however improbable, must be the truth.”

This was such an insanely fun and gripping thriller. I don’t read too many paranormal thrillers, but I truly enjoyed every second of this!!

From the creepiness of the pictures to the chilling reality of what happened—this book had me hooked. I’m a big fan of mixed-media style books and that added element was perfect for setting the scene for how uneasy I felt.

I felt that the pacing was perfect—each page was absolutely necessary and led to an insane, yet perfect, buildup.

I loved Mallory’s character, even when she made some dumb decisions at times. I could see just how much she cared about Teddy. The chapter dedicated to her background was painful to read—I just wanted to give her a hug.

My one complaint was the end started to veer off of creepy into a little bit gimmicky. There was one particular plot point that just kind of felt unnecessary and I rolled my eyes, but it did not overshadow how well written and immersive this story was.

Highly recommend!!
