The Rights of the Reader by Daniel Pennac

4.0

I'm going to call this one read, even though I haven't quite finished it! I am an aspiring librarian with a love of reading, so this book was perfect for me! I lamented with the author about the decline of reading and felt inspired by his "Rights of the Reader". This is a book that I will be referring back to, even though I found some of the French literature references to be a bit confusing. Quentin Blake's accompanying illustrations are adorable.
