Hmm... I liked "The Long Emergency" quite a bit. His fictionalized account of how this could play out sucks so far, though. I don't care about any of the characters, the writing is mediocre at best, and it seems to be cult vs. cult vs. cult. I'm going to give it a few more chapters ....

Which I did, and it got worse. Yeah. Skip this one.
