What I read of this book (which was 400pgs) was ok, but I just couldn't be bothered to continue, especially since 400pgs isn't even halfway through the book. This book felt way too long, and, while the concept was good, I thought the execution was clunky and surprisingly, given the book's length, lacking in depth. Also, the characters were rather two dimensional and the gravitas that certain scenes should've had, just simply wasn't there. I felt like the author spent too much time on details and pages of extrapolations without making sure the rest of the story was fleshed out. And what the hell blew up the moon??? It seriously gets glossed over like it's no big deal...WTF!!!!
