An incredible debut. The book was the best example of a page turner. I would have read it all in one sitting if I could’ve.
I could visualize the whole story, section by section. Farr set the story up with great descriptions that also don’t distract from what’s happening with the story itself. As I said during an update, I can completely see this as a commercially successful movie or limited series.
The only reason it’s missing a star is the end. I see absolutely no reason for the 20 year jump. It was all cheese. Every aspect was unnecessary. I don’t know how it should have ended, but not that way.
