A Perfect Gentleman by Candace Camp

3.0

This was a fun read and the characters were all very nice, but it lacked oomph; it felt like the author abandoned the dramatic, left-at-the-altar plot pretty quickly in favor of a rather cozy mystery investigation. The hero and heroine were both pleasant but wildly forgettable; the assortment of secondary characters was what really made this book palatable, cliched though many of them were.
