πŸ“š my favorite qoutes from the book πŸ“š
"Being uncomfortable makes us think of options we wouldn't have had to imagine before. It is why heartbreak is crucial to human growth. The obstacle that becomes the way. Any idiot can enjoy the positive things in life. It is only the few who can take the negative and find the profound."

"Anxiety is a sign we are to in the past or in the future. Is affecting how we make choices in the present."

"Real change happens with one person doing one thing differently than before."

"Love grows. It expands you. It grows you from the inside out. There are hidden expenses within us and sometimes love comes our differently."

"It was love that created you. Not the pain that is a byproduct of lost love. It was not the love someone did not give. But the love you found in yourself. Sometimes we chose people who will show us the hidden parts of ourselves."

"That you forgive the people who were cruel to you. People only lash out at what strikes a cord within them. To forgive yourself for being cruel to your body."

"Now is all we have, my friends. We have to choose now. The mess. The peacemaking. The change. There's all there is... keep breathing. Things are only as boring as we let them be. The side of us that isn't concerned about tomorrow."

"Learning to process negative emotions without being scolded for them is important. We have to take our discomfort with the unknown and settle into it firmly. Major change can only happen on a minor scale. One individual at a time. We have to let go to try to understand everything else."

"If you can not figure out what you really want...look straight at your deepest fears. What's on the other side of them? That's what you really want."

🌿🀍 My Thoughts 🀍🌿

Some of my favorite lessons were linked to self love, reflection and simple lessons about life...finding our way back to ourselves after change and loss. The core of this book felt rooted in our perspectives of the world, the choices we make and a nonjudgemental cure that is we are all human and just trying to figure life out. Highly reccomend!!!
