Salt Kiss by Sierra Simone
5.0

Wow..I need to get my hormones, I mean feeling under control. First, you MUST read [b:Salt in the Wound|196000009|Salt in the Wound (Lyonesse)|Sierra Simone|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1691591277l/196000009._SY75_.jpg|169600523] before you read this, and I HIGHLY recommend reading The New Camelot Trilogy as well because the little tidbits will make you squeeeee with internal glee because you are "in on it" and know all about the Lyonesse clientele. Second, you should really check out Sierra's Spotify channels for both books because hot damn they make this so immersive. I could not put this book down, and as always, fantastically beautiful writing. I think my highlights in this are extensive because it just spoke so true.

Tristen is a beautiful, beautiful man and soul. He feels deeply and loves deeply and he must be protected AT ALL COSTS! And Mark and Isolde I have a feeling will both be happy to do some protecting. This book is scorching hot, and unlike New Camelot, we get a male version first which I really love! I also love how Sierra Simone's characters are just sexual in nature and it is never about putting specific sexuality labels on her characters or attempting to have them qualify themselves, they just ARE..no labels needed. When you read the story, the spice, romance, angst, pain, love, emotions, it really is just people, and pleasure, and I cannot get this book out of my head. One of my top reads for 2023, absolutely!

I can’t say I was shocked at the end…I sort of wondered the entire time about that…. But come on Rev. Sierra…. Honey Cut in 2024! You dirty thing….. Fantastic, this author is always an automatic purchase for me. So grateful to have been given this ARC from Candi Kane PR!
