First Thought when Finished: Huge fan of Nick and Calla as a couple in Wolf's Fall.
Quick thoughts: Nick and Calla were not a couple I "saw" together. His Vamp issues made me unsure how it was going to work. However, the romance and understanding between the couple worked out splendidly! I admit this was probably the most emotional romance in the series for me and might even be my favorite. The story surround Nick and Calla was also strong. Lots of action! Lots of intrigue! Lots of wolves, vampires, and yes those damn hunters. I really dig this series. It just seems to fit what I look for in a PNR Military type of romance. I can't wait till the next one.
Audio Thoughts:
Marguerite is one my favorite narrators. I wasn't sure how I would like her taking over the series from another one of my favorites: Kirsten Potter. She has a strong sense of story though and that shows in her performance. She did a great job! I did miss some of the voices I have to come to love but Marguerite pulled them off! As long as she (or Kirsten) are doing this series, I will be listening to them! I am glad I took the chance!
