While I don’t tend to find the characters in this authors books to be particularly memorable, I love the themes she explores with them and the way she ties each book into her larger world in ways I don’t expect. This book felt in ways that she was pulling from her own life but not in ways that were obnoxious, but more breaking the forth wall- esque. Like we both know that we know that we know :) Also, the scifi themes in here were great especially as someone who doesn’t tend to like time travel stories - she made it work well.
