Thank you to the author and Kate Rock Book Tours for the free book. These opinions are my own.
This is a story of two people who find that their dreams have slipped away. Lena is grieving after the death of her former fiance. And Palmer is upset by the loss of his family business. When Lena starts a cross country road trip in a Volkswagen van, Palmer joins her.
I loved the van and all the manatees. I'm always sold on a book that begins in the Pacific Northwest. And the characters are beautifully written.
This book is such a journey, bother literal and metaphorical. And it took its time getting to the destination. It was incredibly emotional. It focused on starting over and taking the time to find new dreams. And it made me reflect on my own.
