3.5 stars. So I was prepared to not LOVE this book (even tho I kind of did lol). But I want to read the rest of the series, so I decided to start with the first one. I’ve since learned that the first two books of the series were the last to be translated to English, which insinuates they aren’t his *best* work. BUT I found this book to be a promising start to the series.

I’m glad to have started with the first and learned a bit about Harry Hole’s personal life. I definitely enjoyed his character, so I’ve purchased the second book. So excited to continue this series!! (Mostly because of my initial interest in The Snowman, #7)

Happy to have started a new crime series that will carry me through Fall/Winter :)
