The Outlaw Demon Wails by Kim Harrison
5.0
Reread 2022
Yup, did a happy wiggle when Bis got back. It's funny how I keep forgetting him but the moment he's mentioned it get all happy, like meeting an old friend.
Rachel is in agony over Kisten and that feels right.
Rooting for Trent. Elves for the win!

How epic was it to be reaquinted with Bis again! I honestly forgot all about him and when he came back in the story there was just such a warm, cozy feeling.

You knew you're hooked on these books when you start swearing in Tink's name and you're wary of the people who sneeze a couple of times in a row thinking 'Is a demon calling them?'.
One of the big strengths of these books is the funny comments of Jenks. More than once I stopped reading just to laugh at what the little pixy was saying.
I can't seem to put the life of Rachel down. Not even when a lot of demons are whisperings in my ears. But I must admit ... I miss Kisten. And I'm glad that Rachel does too. I'm not quite ready to see her ready to love another man.
One to the next!
