A FLAME IN THE NIGHT is a quick and delicious read, boasting rich details, fun characters, and complex emotions!

It felt very much like a story that flows based on the energy of its characters. We get a taste of what's to come from future installments by the delightful Morgan Dante (we need more). In AFITN, there's  exploration of sexuality, reclamation of a sort, vengeance, and the blissful beginnings of a poly relationship (and healing for all). It's filled with equal amounts of fun banter and the heavier stuff that weighs the heart.

Aside from some technical errors and the pacing feeling a bit odd at times, I think Morgan has crafted something marvelous with characters that can't be defined as good or bad, monstrous or otherwise.

There's emotion, passion, love, violence, and more!
