This book was filled with so many emotions and feelings, and queerness. I don't know how much I can even write about it even though as of writing this I've just finished it.
~
I enjoyed it a lot, it was a good time reading it. I liked the characters, even the ones I'm meant to dislike. But it's not the best book I've ever read.
~
I like that there was a wealth of queer characters, and a diverse range of identities being shown, from agender, to transmaculine, lesbian, gay, and bisexual. I also like that it was centered around a queer-owned bakery that is well known and beloved by their community, who would fight for it.
~
I found the concept of magical baking a little hard to follow, and somewhat confusing. I understand the general gist of it, and that bakers often say things were made with love. But I just find it unusual and confusing how someone's feelings and emotions could manifest the way they do in the story. Even despite my general confusion it was a fun read.
