Another adventure where our reluctant hero reluctantly returns to the spy world and reluctantly does spy stuff to save the world - no - to stop some Greek artefacts being returned to Greece where they rightfully belong, what a hero.
Okay, admittedly there is a little bit more to it than that, but this series has possibly overstayed its welcome by now. Overly tropey with standard spy world baddies, this hasn't aged all that well. Being the 'last' book in the series (at the time) there were also some predictable things that happened.
The big issue going in to the book was that Alex Rider himself doesn't feature in the story until page 127 and I'd almost had enough by that point.
