Written incredibly. I found the beginning of William’s relationship with Edith the most perplexing part of the book and the most difficult to buy into. It took me out of the book for a while because it was so odd to me.
Stoner shined most as a character in the scenes at the university, and one of my favorites was the drama with Walker.
I enjoyed most of my time with this book, and Williams had quite a knack of exploring personality in a stoic way while still being detailed.
