I'm Not Done with You Yet
by Jesse Q. Sutanto
I’d actually give this slightly more than 3 stars, but I’m rounding down. I love Suranto’s Aunties series and I went into this knowing it would be very different. I thought the premise was intriguing and the story laid out/planned well.
I’m knocking it down because I’m the kind of person that needs there to be at least one good, redeemable character. An argument can be made for Jane to be that character, but there just wasn’t enough here for me to actually like any of them.
Otherwise, good twists and the multiple perspectives are used very well so you get important details from different POVs.
Personally, I think I’ll stick to Sutanto’s more comedic books in the future but I’m glad I tried this out. It was a quick, fast-paced read that definitely held my attention.
