Lots of twists and turns that I thought were written into the story well.

My one issue isn’t so much about this book in particular but the genre as a whole. Whenever I read adult mystery/thriller, basically every single one revolves around domestic abuse/violence. This may totally be my fault for reading them but I tend to only read the popular ones and they all have that involved. I want a good twisty murder mystery that doesn’t involve one of the people beating their spouse.
