The Little Book Café: Tash's Story
by Georgia Hill
I adored this book. I didn't expect it to touch my heart and touch on serious subjects like domestic violence but it really got to me. The novel was told so well. The development of Tash was so well done. Tash liked money. She worked hard at her job as an estate manager and loved coming home to her boyfriend Adrian who fired on her constantly and took exquisite care of her.
Her boyfriend Adrian is wonderful, and adores her, but has become a bit clingy of late. So when she is introduced to new local farmer Kit, with his scruffy beard and low-key look, its’s a breath of fresh air to chat to someone so un-Adrian. Maybe this book club idea could be fun after all!
But when Tash starts forgetting things and behaving oddly, over-protective Adrian is determined to keep her from her new interest which makes Tash even more determined to go.
This novel was fast paced, well written and perfectly delivered. I hope many readers pick this book up. It is a story that deserves to be read ALOT.
