Never Tell by Alafair Burke
5.0
This could of been another rich kid being indulged and excuses made for her behavior but Burke added a whole new layer to it. Ellie is called to the rich upper side of NYC and views what seems to be a typical suicide of slitting the wrist only the victim is only sixteen. After the rich parents demand a full investigation and they begin the case researching the victim what they find troubles them. This shows how posting your world on the internet can invite the wrong people into your world. It also shows us how far adults will go to keep their secrets. The author adds characters to this they ring true to life and may even question how you see people in the future. This book had me enthralled from beginning to end and even when the end had another scenario to what happened many years ago that led to current events it gave you a firm ending but also left you wondering what really happened that night.
