I cried so much. In tears right now. This was so hard to listen to. He really is such a good author. It was an honor to have it read by the author. Started and finished it on the first/second day of my road trip to Albuquerque with Meenakshi/Erich. I can't believe this was in my teacher's library in elementary school. It's so dark. I was prepared to cry, but not this much. It was so hard to think kindly of some of the people in this novel, the narrator especially. Is this a true story? Okay so it's definitely not. I initially rated this 4.5 but I knocked it down to 3.75 because I find the narrator too dislikable.
