Great seeing Ged as an old, wise man. The kid was kinda weird though...
A great ending to the Earthsea Trilogy. It reflects well on the other two books and Ged's character within them. It's pleasing to see Ged giving sage advice that you know he's learnt the hard way. It's also fun to see him at the height of his power and wisdom, conversing with dragons as equals. Continuing the themes of power and darkness, it also explores desire and human nature.

"Though I came to forget or regret all I have ever done, yet would I remember that once I saw the dragons aloft on the wind at sunset above the western isles; and I would be content."
