New Spring by Robert Jordan

I wished that this prequel was a book about before the breaking of the world. Buttt it isn't. And that's okay. I was really glad that Lan and Moiraine were written from a point of view where we can see how they got their start, however I was also a little bummed that their bonding came out of necessity instead of out of an admiration for one another. While it is certainly there, i didn't feel that connection they have in the other books. Maybe that just comes with the time they've been together.
